About

Market Outlook is a Princeton, New Jersey-based research and consulting firm specializing in demographic forecasting, consumer economic research, and custom planning applications. The firm works with a select group of Fortune 500 clients on an ongoing basis, providing the senior-level expertise and direct access that larger organizations cannot offer.

Geoffrey DiMeglio
Principal

Geoffrey DiMeglio has spent thirty years working at the intersection of demographic research, consumer economics, and long-range business planning. His career began in the Consumer Markets Division at WEFA (Wharton Econometric Forecasting Associates), where he developed the analytical foundation that has defined his work ever since. Before joining Market Outlook in 2004, he served as North American Research Director for Grosvenor Americas, the North American property investment arm of one of the UK's largest private estates.

At Market Outlook, Geoffrey leads the firm's research and client practice, building the forecasts, developing the planning models, and maintaining the client relationships that define the firm's work. He has been doing this long enough to know that the hardest part of demographic and economic research is rarely the analysis itself. It is translating complex, often counterintuitive findings into something a planning team can act on or a marketing team can use to frame a strategic conversation internally. That translation work is where Geoffrey spends as much of his time as the research itself.

His clients have direct access to him throughout the year, not just at delivery. Questions get answered quickly, follow-up is thorough, and output is tailored to what each client actually needs internally, whether that is a detailed forecast update or an executive summary they can present to senior management.
